One of the three main documents of Anglican worship is the Book of Common Prayer - BCP. We recommend the 1928 version until the new ACNA Anglican Book of Prayer is released. Newer versions of the BCP exisit, and the language is more contemporary, but the 1928 is more faithful to historical Anglicanism than the newer ones. Faithfulness to our history is important to us.
There have been various versions of the BCP since the fifteen hundreds. This guide for our spiritual life is vital and helpful. It is full of the Word of God and helps us to conduct our daily spiritual lives in an orderly fashion. When you discover the BCP you will appreciate how useful and insightful it is.
